Protect Your Vote: A Citizen’s Guide
We all have a role to play in keeping our elections free and fair. Voting is the greatest power most Americans have and it is almost always a positive and rewarding experience. Yet, some voters will likely encounter challenges this November.
Local election officials work hard to make sure elections run smoothly, but they can’t do it alone. If voters keep informed, get involved, speak out and vote, they can have a huge impact in supporting the elections community.
This pocket guide is designed to help. It provides concrete steps and resources that citizens can use to help protect the vote and the elections process. Unlike most of our resources, it is intended for individual voters and organizations whose actions can support election workers in their efforts to run secure, efficient and fair elections.
Here Are Your Options
We have ready-to-print versions and templates, if you wish to add your organization’s logo to the cover before printing, folding and distributing. Please be sure to download the instructions that correspond with the version of the guide you choose.
Accordion fold guides are 11×17-inch sheets of paper cut in half horizontally and then folded “Z-style.” Quarter fold guides are 8.5×11-inch sheets of paper folded in half and then folded in half again.
Once folded, the guides are pocket-size and feature QR codes and easy URLs to get readers to essential resources, including our full list of resources to protect your vote.
Note: Different printers leave differing amounts of white space at the edge, so you may need to adjust folds slightly.
