Accomplished civic technology expert joins The Elections Group

Burr Ridge, Ill. (December 12, 2023) – The Elections Group team is growing in preparation for the 2024 election cycle, with the addition of civic technology expert Jessenia Eliza.
“Jessenia is a remarkable professional with years of experience supporting election officials,” said Jennifer Morrell, the chief executive officer of The Elections Group. “Her reputation for innovation and excellence precedes her, so we’re eager to see the new heights we’ll reach together.”
A vote-by-mail and ballot tracking specialist, she previously served as the director of government initiatives at a civic technology nonprofit, where she managed the development and implementation of products to help elections staff across the country monitor, track and report on election mail, and send personalized mail ballot notifications to voters. Eliza has more than a decade of experience working with nonprofits, and her previous efforts have focused on operationalizing systems, policies, and processes for numerous workforce development initiatives and technical projects.
In her role as a program manager, Eliza will work to innovate internal processes and collaborate on election workforce initiatives.
