Tammy Patrick is the Chief Executive Officer for Programs at the Election Center, the National Association of Election Officials. She has been working in the elections space since 2003, previously serving as Senior Advisor to the Elections Program at Democracy Fund and as Federal Compliance Officer for the Maricopa County Elections Department for eleven years. In 2013, she was selected by President Obama to serve as a commissioner on the Presidential Commission on Election Administration.

Drew Davies is the founder of Oxide, a civic-minded brand and design consultancy. He has helped design national ballot design standards for the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and worked with the Federal Voting Assistance Program to improve the registration and voting process for U.S. citizens. In partnership with the Center for Civic Design, Drew designed the Field Guides to Ensuring Voter Intent, which were featured in the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum.

Jennifer Morrell will sit down with Tammy and Drew to talk about how they each found their way into this work, what has shaped their careers, and what they’re focused on today — plus the personal recipes they love.
