Accelerating Excellence Conversation: California Election Officials
Counties in California’s Greater Bay Area formed the Coalition of Bay Area Election Officials to pool resources and creativity, cut costs, and promote efficiency. The coalition provides a model for other jurisdictions to imitate as they work with nearby colleagues to engage the media and share important election information with voters.
We were joined by Marin County Registrar of Voters Lynda Roberts, Contra Costa County Deputy Clerk-Recorder Tommy Gong, and Evelyn Mendez, the public and legislative affairs manager for the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters.
