Pam
Pam Anderson is a proven leader in the elections policy and administration space with twenty years of experience in the field. Pam is adept in the public policy and advocacy arena. She was elected the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder in 2006 and re-elected in 2010. Previously she served as the elected City Clerk for the City of Wheat Ridge. Pam was also the Republican nominee for Colorado Secretary of State in 2022.
Pam is a business owner and has experience with organizations of all sizes at the local, state, and national level, and within the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She was the executive director of the Colorado County Clerks Association for more than five years leading the professional association in training, education, government relations, and advocacy. As President of the CCCA and a legislative co-chair she represented and led local election officials for voters in nearly all the reform in Colorado elections of the last two decades. As a county clerk, she led a large organization with over 110 employees and is experienced in high-volume customer service in the public sector. Pam is recognized for her experience in leadership, assessment of elections operations, and the development and training of a wide range of election administration best practices such as ballot processing, security and accounting, public transparency, audits, and media and communication.
Pam was recognized with the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Medallion Award for her contribution in the development, passage, and implementation of risk-limiting audits. In 2022, she was featured on the cover of Time Magazine as a “Defender of Democracy’. In 2022 she was inducted as a Colorado County Clerk Honorary Member for life.
Pam has served in a volunteer capacity on several boards including currently serving as a Trustee for the Jefferson County Public Library. Pam has a B.A. in History, a master’s degree in public administration and is a CERA-certified election professional.
