Election Resource Roundup: Ballot Processing and Chain of Custody (Week 11)
In preparation for the 2024 Presidential Election, The Elections Group is teaming up with experts in the industry to highlight resources for election administrators. This weekly series will showcase resources from The Elections Group, paired with resources from other organizations in the elections space. Every four weeks, we will focus on a different topic, and we’ll take a deeper dive into the resources available each week. Whether you’re a seasoned elections administrator looking for resources in the field, or if you’re new to the role, these maximum 30-minute sessions will be a quick introduction to resources curated for you.
The August 26 Resource Roundup features The Election Group’s Ballot Drop Box Security Posters and Ballot Drop Box Pick-up Procedure Posters and the Center for Civic Design’s Civic Icons and Images for Designing.
TEG’s Ballot Drop Box Security Posters and Ballot Drop Box Pick-up Procedure Posters illustrate the security measures and pick-up procedures for ballot drop boxes are simple ways to ensure that watchers and observers, media and other visitors have accurate and up-to-date information. These posters can serve as assistive visual tools during tours and help communicate general information to the public.
CCD’s Civic Icons and Images for Designing is a library of civic images and icons — organized into various collections — that you can use across multiple election materials, including your election website, voter guides, and posters. Along with the images are guidelines to help you adapt them to your uses and use them effectively.
