Practice the Plan: Using Tabletop Exercises to Build Election Resilience

Tabletop exercises (TTXs) and other scenario-driven trainings proved to be powerful tools for strengthening election preparedness. Using realistic scenarios – natural disasters, cyber incidents, and sudden shifts in operational capacity – participants tested emergency plans, practiced decision-making, and built stronger coordination with partners.
