Trevor served the Colorado Secretary of State’s office as Chief Information Officer from 2007 to 2023 after eight years as Deputy CIO and Director of Software Development. During the time he served under several Secretaries of State, Colorado gained a national reputation in several areas including elections administration, business registrations, and cybersecurity operations. He has also served in several national positions, including chairperson of the EI-ISAC Executive Committee, as a member of DHS’s SLTT Government Coordinating Council, and as the IT Section Chair and Vice Chair for the International Association of Commercial Administrators. Trevor has been an invited speaker and panelist at multiple conferences including NASS, NASED, RSA, MS-ISAC and EI-ISAC, and DEF CON.
