Election Resource Roundup – Week 14

In preparation for the 2024 Presidential Election, The Elections Group is teaming up with experts in the industry to highlight resources for election administrators. This weekly series will showcase resources from The Elections Group, paired with resources from other organizations in the elections space. Every four weeks, we will focus on a different topic, and we’ll take a deeper dive into the resources available each week. Whether you’re a seasoned elections administrator looking for resources in the field, or if you’re new to the role, these maximum 30-minute sessions will be a quick introduction to resources curated for you.

The September 16 Resource Roundup features The Election Group’s Standards of Conduct for Election Workers and the Humphrey School’s “How to Get Your Poll Workers to Remember and Retain What You Tell Them” training video.

TEG’s Standard of Conduct for Election Workers goes over the basics of standards of conduct and provides examples of values-based standards. It reviews the role of training and core competencies as well as monitoring and reporting. The guide, complete with templates and examples, is available to download today.

The Humphrey School’s “How to Get Your Poll Workers to Remember and Retain What You Tell Them” training video offers tips and tricks on how to improve your training so your poll workers listen, remember and retain the information you present.
